I began my design career by making clothes and backpacks for myself. Over the last two years, I have been commissioned by friends and colleagues to manufacture personalized clothing.

When I'm not designing or sewing, I set up exhibits and installations for various companies around the West Coast. My travels have inspired me to observe diverse fashion styles in a trade-heavy setting across many cities. Travelling also allows me to visit different places to source, so I always have fresh materials to work with.

I currently work at one of the largest family-owned fabric stores in the United States, where I receive shipments, roll fabric, stock displays, and maintain customer relationships. In my time working there, I get to discover which textiles I favor and how others use them, broadening my understanding of how fabrics should and can be used.

After a year of sewing at home, I now do most of my production at a communal makerspace, which gives me access to other like-minded individuals and different mediums of creative expression daily.
